might need foam rolling but don't know where?
A few weeks ago I noticed that I was walking kind of weird. I didn't have any pain or discomfort but for some reason my left foot would kind of slap the ground when I walked (as if I was flat footed in that leg only). It seemed to go away in a week so I didn't worry too much about it. But then a few days ago it came back. Then tonight I think I figured out why. For some reason my left ankle won't bend right. For instance just standing straight up, if I try and tap my left foot I can't do it because I can't lift the balls of my feet off the ground. It doesn't hurt at all, it just feels weird and I know I should be able to do it. But it does explain why I'm walking strangely.
So I think I should do some foam rolling but I don't know where I should be focusing my attention. I don't notice any abnormally tight muscles but obviously there is a problem somewhere. Anyone know what muscle group would be causing this and what foam rolling exercises I could do?
Thanks,
Karl
