Knee Pain
1. When did the pain begin?
Pain started on monday (3/23)
2. What were you doing at the time? Or did the pain come on gradually over time?
I was squatting down looking at something for a minute or two and stood up (non weighted)
3. Where, anatomically, is the pain?
Located on the outside of the knee, at a level below the knee cap level
4. What does the pain feel like? Sharp? Dull? Aching? Stabbing? Shooting?
5. Is the pain constant, or intermittent, or only on certain motions?
Was walking with a limp monday + tuesday. Now walking normally, sharp pain when I touch the area.
6. What motions make your pain worse?
Some ski squats today brought some pain on.
7. What, if anything, makes your pain better?
Iced it a little today and that helped
8. Does your pain radiate to any other part of your body?
No
9. What things could you do before, that you cannot do now because of your injury? I have full range of motion, but ski squat brought on some pain
10. What is your main concern regarding the pain and its consequences?
Not sure what level I should continue working out and how long I should allow it to heal, Should I just go see the doctor. What can I do to prevent this.
11. Have you ever injured that part of your body before? If so, how?
Had some knee problems before, most likely IBL problems
12. Is your pain getting worse over time? And if so, how much worse over what time period? Gotten better since monday, walking around normal now.
