Default Lower back near the glutes

1. When did the pain begin?

Not sure, started to notice it when stretching about 4 weeks ago

2. What were you doing at the time? Or did the pain come on gradually over time?

No fall or anything.

3. Where, anatomically, is the pain?

Very lower back, when bending over it feels like it's in my glutes too.

4. What does the pain feel like? Sharp? Dull? Aching? Stabbing? Shooting?

Feels like my back is going go snap in half, or like someone is stabbing me in the back at the bottom end.

5. Is the pain constant, or intermittent, or only on certain motions?

Certain motions, when bending or stretching the back front ways.

6. What motions make your pain worse?

Legs apart, trying to touch the floor with straight legs. Also sitting down with my legs together and straight out, I can barely move from sitting straight.

7. What, if anything, makes your pain better?

Lifting seems to numb the pain a bit, particularly dead lifts/squats. I'm sure these have not caused the pain as I felt it before I did them.

8. Does your pain radiate to any other part of your body?

No

9. What things could you do before, that you cannot do now because of your injury?

None really

10. What is your main concern regarding the pain and its consequences?

I feel like an old man, don't feel healthy, and it is effecting my lifting, e.g. leg press it can feel it in my pack there for some reason.

11. Have you ever injured that part of your body before? If so, how?

no

12. Is your pain getting worse over time? And if so, how much worse over what time period?

Not worse, just the same.
