I used to get the funniest looks from people in the gym when I complained about breaking a nail in the gym.
I never used to pay attention or care about it until I realized that many people saw it and quietly freaked out until they realized why my nails are so long on my right hand. Now I usually offer an explanation when I see people looking at my hand. They always say, "Oh, I didn't even notice," but I can see the expression of relief on their face.
I have a couple of gigs booked over the next couple of weeks, speaking of CG. I actually practiced last Saturday (I have terrible discipline).
