LUNGES...ugghhhhh!
I have been weight training since November and just started "The New Rules of Lifting for Women" last week. I am loving it and really feel like I am working hard. My current issue (LOL) is I stink at lunges. My balance is horrible and my flexibility worse. I am strong enough to hold db weights but not coordinated to keep my balance. The two workouts that I did...I started using db and then switched to just body weight in an attempt to keep my balance better. A big part of the problem is I have a nasty plantars wart on my foot and it affects my balance.
I guess my question is "Am I better to just use my body weight and complete the 15 reps or should I use db even though I am loosing my balance and just try to do as many as I can?".
