I just read the entire thing from the beginning, so I am caught up. And you lied about this being a slow-moving log. I'll be checking in daily...except maybe for next week when I'll be hanging out with my girls in Eugene. Maybe even then during down time, I'll bet.

Oh you'll find time to check up. This place is addicting. LOL! It is a slow moving log compared to my last one though I did make a promise to keep this one a bit more up to date for the cut. Glad to see you here and if you guys come up to Portland give me a ring.

LOL! I could not be happier right now and I am so glad I contacted and hired him for this year's journey. At first I questioned if it would work or be a good idea but each week it seems I have these amazing learnings. I would never do so well on my own. It is Sunday and I am going to take my doggie for a 6 mile jog in just a short while. I am wondering how my body is going to react to a jog.

Life is GOOD!

If anything, being with others would even make me feel helpless and DNF more easily. That's just the way it works.

I am LEO and filled with LEO ego so there ya have it. Additionally I have enough testosterone to grow decent muscle AND be really stupid sometimes. LOL! While walking off the pretty sharp pain in my left quad muscle I was fully aware that my ego and test were speaking louder than my common sense. That said it paid off. I was significantly better the next day. In fact nearly 100%.

OTOH, I can have a pretty vicious (and self-destructive) competitive streak every once in a while, and if that means I have to show-up a skinny guy (especially one spouting bro-knowledge), then... oh well, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!

Isn't the chocolate milk directive just da bomb! I get to drink chocolate milk in my cut!! Happy dance. And yeah.... What a girl's gotta do... ROTFLMAO!!!
