ok, I totally adore the gowearfit people. they responded to my email within a couple of hours on a sunday (!), and told me what jill said--they were doing an update.

today was a lifting day. did a one rep max test, but we kinda goofed it up. I got one rep of 90 no prob but then instead of stopping, I strained to do a second rep of 90. I should have stopped after one rep. so when I attempted 95, I failed. my one rep max is no doubt between 90 and 95 right now. so that is good enough to get me into the pump and run right now at the weight I am. hopefully, I can get low enough to do my reps with 85 instead. I will continue to get stronger between now and march 8, so I got that going for me. I can do endless reps of 60. can get quite a few at 70 and 75. I should be able to do more on a one rep max by the prediction tables, but my coach says I do not have the neural pathways yet for explosive strength. I have just never done this kind of lifting before. at least now, I feel like I have a clue on how to properly squat, dead and bench. which will serve me well in my running!
my coach is still available to me by email. he is the best! and my husband is a great spotter and cheerdude. we are enjoying having our sunday lifting sessions together again.
and benching properly is way harder the proper way then the way I used to do it. you gotta touch that bar to your chest in competition!!!
