Tuesday:

All is well today and on track. Macros were dead on till my afternoon snack of turkey breast when I decided to dip it in honey mustard. I'm pretty darn close though and I gotta admit it was one of the few times that I actually saw 50/20/30 exactly on the fitday pie chart.

Lunch time workout with coworker... did a nice 30 min circuit of kettle bell swings, squats (OLY style, not PL style!), uphill walking lunges, kettle bell snatches, stair jumps (start on the ground and jump with both feet onto the second step) then more swings. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day! We were sweating!

Dinner tonight is Rosemary chicken with sweet and sour onion jam and olive paste: RECIPE and a salad.

My hand/thumb is driving me nuts... sore and can barely move my thumb. I noticed it after the first OLY class, and hoped it would get better (i've only been to two classes) and its apparently not. I broke it close to 20 years ago and a piece of bone chipped off.... it's now fused to the bone and has grown a little bit. It has never really bothered me before but the wide grip on the bar for the snatches puts pressure right in that crook area between thumb and index finger, right where the knot is. I'm afraid it's not going to be good. I showed it to the coach and he said that if it was a problem, I may have to get it shaved off/removed or something... unfortunately, the doc is going to start out by telling me "if lifting class is irritating it, quit taking lifting class!." So I'm toying with the idea that I may not be able to continue class until I get it resolved since it is obviously an issue. I'm supposed to practice lifts tonight, but I'm thinking I cannot grip the bar properly until the pain eases up. :-( I did buy some nice lifting gloves that help pad it a little, and some tape... we'll see what happens, next scheduled class isn't until the 24th.

Anyways... it's time to tend to my onions and get dinner finished. I also brought work home to do tonight, so gotta get after that as well.
