I've always found it good to think of nothing at all, for at least the first 20 - 30 minutes after that jump right in on what your interested in because you'll focus on it 110%. The easiest way to tell if your still in a deep meditation is that you can only think of one thing at a time. As soon as you start thinking of 2 & 3 things at a time you are out of your deep trance and back into the worry world.
