You can't train at a high level of intensity (as in explosively), providing a stimulus for muscle growth, and not gain a certain amount of muscle mass...unless you are eating a low amount of calories.
Height weight/recommendations are generally slated because they don't allow for extra muscle mass - athletic guys generally hit the fat/obese end of the scale. Corey is well under the "healthy" recommendations.
I'd like to see his numbers in the Harris Benedict formula.
