The first JPFitness XBOX 360 Live EPL Championship Match occurred today, when ninja's Manchester United took down kingkop182's Liverpool 1-0 in a thriller. Anderson, who hasn't scored for United in his brief real life career, scored the only goal in the 77th minute. Both teams had plenty of opportunities, but failed to capitalize.

The second game featured a thriller from Spain's LFP, when kingkop's Valencia defeated ninja's Real Madrid 2-1 on penalty kicks. Real Madrid had about six one on one opportunities with Valencia's keeper in regulation, but Ruud van Nistelrooy hit the post and the crossbar on two of them.

Game number one, saw Kingkop's Liverpool in a precarious position - playing 3-4-3; only 3 at the back with a high defensive line. Ninja's Man Utd made good use of the through ball and ultimately deserved their victory.

Game number two ebbed and flowed. Kingkop's Valencia passed the ball well and dominated the midfield, however, much like the real life Arsenal lacked that killer instinct in the final third. Ninja's Madrid side once again made use of the trough ball and strong physical running of RVN, who played on the shoulder of the defense and spun into space well. Kingkop closed out the 90 minutes well and looked the more likely to score in extra time, before the last 10 minutes, were if truth be told, Madrid stepped it up a gear and only the woodwork stopped a late winner on two occasions.

Kingkop took much ribbing from his Brother and Girlfriend for getting beat to an American at our own sport. His game intelligence was there but the ability to convert that onto the video game area proved his undoing.
