No. It will just be more expensive and less likely to be "pure". So, those who still want to take PH's will be able to get them or cook them up in their garages, will still do it but they're taking a bigger chance with their lives.
Besides, wouldn't the US Government be cutting it's own throat by shutting down a multi-billion dollar industry for which it's currently collecting taxes? I wonder what will happen to the "average joe's" tax burden once those monies are no longer flowing into governmental coffers.

I wonder if lawmakers are idealizing the word "illegal"... thinking that if something is officially outlawed that it will cease to be a problem.
I suppose it would be more sensible to keep it legal, but under the strict supervision of the FDA.
