Are you looking for anything other than weight?
Head to bed/bath/beyond (maybe it's in the beyond department) and get a scale. If it's over $50 it's prolly pretty decent. At least, that's what we have found. Usually they're pretty accurate so long as they're not ubercheap when it comes to weight only.
We have an omron (it says HBF512 on it) that is pretty overkill but nice. Has a pullout handle for bf measuring and the like. Has memory and measures weight, bf, skeletal muscle, and visceral fat, as well as gives you bmi and some "you're this body age" number. It's consistent, which is nice, and can be programmed for up to 4 people as well as have a guest option. And, you can just stand on it and only get your weight.
We've also had salter and tanita. The salter cheap one ($30 about 8 years ago) was bad, but the expensive ones (over $50) were decent.
