My son (he's almost 13) has a migraine variant (cyclic vomiting syndrome -- cvsaonline.org if you're curious) along with regular migraines... he's had the diagnosis since he was 5, symptoms since he was 2... been on everything mentioned above (prescription, otc, homeopathic), and nothing has helped.
Currently he's on verapamil, a calcium-channel blocker... not sure it's doing anything either. The only thing that helps at all when he has an attack is benadryl to knock him out for the day...
I'll keep checking this thread, just in case someone posts something we haven't tried yet... It's good to see that some of the treatments help some of the people, at least.
