Nutrition on the bike
What do you bring with you on a long ride or in a race? I like the jelly beans and shot blocks in general, but find them hard to eat when I'm racing because I'm breathing a little heavy and chewing those things isn't easy! In my last race I tried the gel (I think it was clif) thinking that would be better since I don't have to chew it. But it gummed up my mouth and throat and I had to drink a lot to wash it down.
I need to find a better solution. Maybe a power bar? What do you eat/drink?
