I LOOOOOOOVVVEEE to cross-country ski. I took it up for rehab after I blew out my ACL downhilling, and fell in love with it!

It's been a long time since I've purchased equipment, but I think now-a-days the recommendation is for shorter skis versus the really really long ones from years past. Do you have a good ski shop near you where you could go check stuff out (even if you didn't plan on buying from them)?
