decreased muscle damage (less sore) . The ability to do more volume without fatigue . Increased recovery capabilities.
I sometimes have my hoop players do a "renegade style" workout, which involves an absurd amount of GPP,agility training, and lifting .

They are getting stronger and acheiving their goals weekly.
