I'm not doing BOM, I'm doing Turbulence Training for Mass. But, I am doing the Massive Eating program.
Berardi claims that if you follow the program you can build muscle AND lose some fat. So far, it does seem to be working that way for me. I've put on some weight, but certain areas (belly) seem to be getting thinner.
The key is following the rules of the program. Meals can have Protein and Fat together (with very little Carbs) or Protein and Carbs together (with very little fat). The P/C meals are primarily in the few hours after a workout.
You have to be disciplined to stick to this type of eating, but I think that this is how the fat loss (or, at least minimal fat gain) is achieved. He's got a lot of articles covering the why's and how's.
