12g?! i really dont think thats a lot, the ratio of carb to protein is more then 2:1. You could use this as a PWO drink i think. You say your very healthy and in good shape so i'm guessing you probably want to gain muscle, you should eat more but not a lot of fatty stuff.
I think protein intake should be 0.8-1.5 grams per pound. Also dont eat an EXCESSIVE amount of protein because it will drain calcium especially if your a teen.
