That's a good question. I like high bar squats because they are more quad dominant but after a while they start to hurt my knees so I will switch back to low bar and my knees start feeling better almost instantly. I'm tall so that may have something to do with it. As far as the jumping motion I think the low bar squat may be best because of the emphasis on back extension and posterior chain involvement but that's just a guess.
