It's a visually intimidating shot, but the carry isn't that long if your tee shot is decent. I don't think it's more than 100 yards of carry.
18 tee shot is also visually intimidating, but there's a lot of room to bail right.
17 with a back left pin is, IMHO, one of toughest shots in golf anywhere.
