I don't know where this came from. I had no warning, and no activity created an accute pain, but two days ago, out of the blue, a mild ache started throbbing on my right hip (right up in the ball and socket joint). It steadily declined and by yesterday I could hardly walk. It became an extremely sharp pain that shot a jolt through my whole body when I tried to lift my leg. This morning it hurt just to get up out of bed. Great timing with the retreat this weekend. I am also supposed to go on a 20 mile bikeride. I am thinking I may have to cancel that. It doesn't seem to help if I do any stretches. I don't know if I need some kind of manual adjustment or if I need a cortisone shot to the hip, or just rest it and one day it will disappear. I have loaded up on anti-inflammatories and it isn't helping, or if it is, I shudder to think of how it would feel if I didn't. HEEEEEELLLPPP!
