I have some time, so i figured i'd go over and write a little more detailed review of this rather than a sentence or two.

After milling over this book a lot more, it does have a lot of really good ideas in it for programs. Some assistance work is a little repetitive, but he shows how someone can change around a program a bunch of different ways to work.

It's a little high in price, but i would suggest getting it. It has the 5/3/1 approach in it, but also has some other things that i might be interested in trying (his boring but big routine is pretty cool).

A lot of the stuff over at elitefts is written for the geared lifter, but a lot of the programs in this book are for the raw lifter. He also alters the programs to fit what need the person wants. For example, he goes over how to change it around if you want to work on mainly strength, or if you want to work on bodybuilding. He also goes over how to alter his famous program in a number of ways.

My first impression wasn't too great about this book. Maybe because i thought it would have a little more wendler prose in it, but after referring to it a number of times, I can say that i would suggest anyone who wants to get strong on simplified training BUY IT.
