I've seen it before also, and it means absolutely nothing to me. Master Trainer... Level 1, 2, 3, 99, 100...who the heck cares. It signifies nothing.

Most trainers I have interacted with, a "Master Trainer" is simply one that teaches other trainers. Take it with a grain of salt.
