Well, it can be. I went through a couple of days where I just had to have pasta salad. It was mainly veggies and just a little pasta (like 10oz of veggies to 1oz of pasta) with chick peas and some turkey sausage I had around. I topped it with a homemade low-cal dressing. It really turned out quite nicely (and very filling).
Hmmm... I'm now thinking I should make it again before the summer is over. I have some edamame now that I could add as well.
