it was awesome, the place was packed. I think DW said 15k at the post presser. loud. every time a popular fighters name was mention, or picture put on the screen the place erupted. GSP and Brock getting the most reaction of course. Kongo got a pretty good reaction too.

HH had said plenty of things about Brock, and supposedly was getting worse backstage. Brock dominated him and got the last laugh. I don't think stand-ups favored Heath anyway. those mallets at the end of his 81" gorilla arms move pretty damn fast. Brock's a star, he knows it, he loves it. good for him. IMO he gets a lot of unwarrented hate. oh well, I look forward to watching him progress.
side story: at the Fight Club Q & A(which turned out to be a much better time than I thought it would be, Dana knows how to entertain a crowd) one of first Q's was from a guy on his honeymoon asking for "ticket upgrades". Dana told his guy to give him tickets, but said now everybody else better not start asking.
a running theme was on Canadians. how everywhere they go there's tons of Canadians, Canadians this Canadians that...crazy fucking Canadians.
one of the people I went with was Canadian. we went out friday night, hitting up a bunch of places downtown that were mostly dead. finally I figure lets go check out one of the bigger clubs, maybe the crowd will be there. on the way we pass some random hole in the wall bar I've never heard of. my friend says we should check it out, so I figure whatever may as well. big cheap beers as would be the case we stay for a bit before getting bored. making our way towards the exit we see Dana White walk in.
we approach him and my friend gets a picture with him. then I say to him,"hey, do we get ticket upgrades too?". he laughs for a second then says "wait, are you guys fight club members?". I say "yeah, and get this, he's Canadian". "HE'S WHAT?!?!? CANADIAN?!?! FUCKING CANADIANS!!"(with his hands waving in the air). "yeah, and...AND...its his birthday on Sunday!". he looks at one of the guys in his posse(which included mark dellagrotte and some random UFC employee's) and says "get these guys some ticket upgrades".
edit: I'll also add that pictures do not do Edith and Arianny justice, they are ridiculously hot. good lord.
