There is NO evidence that statins can do children any good. It is a simply rationalistic (a term of derision) that because it is widely (and falsely) believed that statin to adults a lot of good, they must do good for kids. Note: I am considering taking low doses of statins, but so long as I have unexplained, substantial weaknesses, and fatigue I am really suspicious. My doctor had just had me double my statin dose.
