I plan to follow the TNT advanced workouts 3 days per week and interval training 3 days per week (treadmill, stair gauntlet and bootcamp/drill class at my gym). On Interval only days should I still follow the pre/post workout shake and follow up shake (or other fat burning meal) within the hour or is this just for lifting days?

Has anyone tried the NEXGEN muffins? How are they?

I know they say not to be afraid of fat but I am. I haven't eaten a real egg or piece of bacon or hunk of cheese or handful of nuts since i tried Atkins 8 years ago. I just remember those kinds of foods making me feel disgusting. Can someone please reassure me that I will not feel like or start to look like Jabba The Hut.

Butternut squash OK or starchy?

Last but not least--I am a shaker not a blender does Nitrean dissolve well or need to be blended?

As always your sage advice and kind words are much appreciated.

Nicole
Hi Nicole!

Here's my experience with TNT.

The workout shake is for lifting days only; however, sometimes I did a shake on non-workout days at whatever time just to up my protein intake, if it was necessary (usually not).

The NEXGEN muffins are always sold out, so nobody seems to have ever tried them!

I wasn't afraid of fat and still am not; however, I didn't go crazy on bacon and cheese and butter. Even though you aren't counting calories, you essentially are. Low-carb is sorta self-regulating because protein/fat keeps you more satiated; however, there are those who still can eat and eat and eat! Sometimes I am one of those people. Especially when I got very close to my goal, calories did matter. Now, that I have added carbs back in (around 100g a day), I definitely track everything. For the first 4 months, no tracking whatsoever. I lost average of 1 lb a week (though there were several weeks with no loss whatsoever).

Nitrean is AWESOME! BUT, only blended, in my opinion. I do not like it when it's only shaken. But, I'm so picky on my shakes, so it may not matter to you. It definitely blends really well, even when shaken, but it tastes sooooo much better when blended with a few ice cubes. Good investment. Now, I have my shakes with 1/2 frozen banana and PB and it is even better!

Good luck!
