Workoutgirl, I eat more when I'm tired too. I've always thought that it's because I can't think of anything else to do, especially when I'm in situations where I can't go to sleep (like at the office)--kind of like the eating when bored thing that I'm also guilty of. Carbs are usually quick and easy to grab; especially fruit. They also seem to provide a brief pick-me-up, which could maybe explain the craving?
