Yeah, I was having similar problems all day yesterday and most of this morning, and not just with this site either. Once I had determined it wasn't my computer, connection, or ISP, I Googled for internet traffic problems and found this site...

The reason for the problems became clear, the two routers for my area were apparently experiencing difficulties as they were indicated as operating at very low levels (low index, red zone), hence the hanging and slow, sporadic loading. The index currently is high and green, and I'm not having any problems now. So sometimes it isn't you or the site, it's the router.
