Remember, Pudge got struck out by Tony Pena Jr.

(and with the way that Rodney is pitching, Farnsworth could be the closer in a few days. . No way that Zumaya shouldn't be.)
I get tired of all of Pudge's strike outs and his lack of walks, but a Pudge/Inge 60/40 platoon was much better than full-time Inge IMO. Inge's batting avergage hasn't been over .230 all year. I know they have similar OPS #'s, but losing Pudge will be a bigger blow than most people think.

Mainly, I hate to see him go because I'm nostalgic about his contributions to the team. The Pudge signing got the ball rolling and pointed the Tigers in the right direction for the 1st time in 15 years. Anytime you lose a Hall of Famer that had that kind of impact on your team, it sucks.

As for Farnsworth, he should be an upgrade in a pretty weak bullpen. I don't really have a lot of confidence in any of their relievers right now.
