LOL...I didn't notice when I replied! Thanks for letting me know about the link and for replying to my reply

I love to kick on my back (I have a stronger backstroke kick) but I like to try to balance it out because my freestyle kick can get a little lazy. The streamline kickboard has been a lot more effective for me than the traditional boards that I see people use.

Now let me go see if I can find more recent posts

Re: kickboard, I just kick on my back one or both arms extended in front of me instead of putting myself in the unnatural posture of my head in the air while swimming. I wouldn't say it translates 100% into freestyle either but my best laps are immediately after I flip back over!
