Probably no immediate benefit from reading it, but may give some comfort knowing the current theories of their origin. They do mention why anti hypertensive, anti epilectic, and anti depressive drugs sometime help. All of these are likely available in generic versions and hence pretty inexpensive. Have you seen a university type specialist. Sometimes they are great and other times &^%$(*. I have experienced both.
