Hi ya'll!
Figured I'd pop in with an update since I haven't been here in like, FOREVAH!!
On the work front: Things are still very stressful, but this time it's stressful because I'm doing all new stuff. The GOOD news - I survived the layoff!!! The BAD news is I'm still freakin' stressin - I hate not knowing what I'm doing. I'm sure I'll figure it all out and learn what I need to learn, but in the meantime.......
On the home front: Things are out of control crazy! Last weekend DH and I went to his cousin's wedding, but instead of going to the reception, we ended up in the ER with DH's grandfather! Apparently, before the wedding ceremony even started, they had to call an ambulance to come to the church to take him to the hospital! As soon as the wedding ceremony was over, DH's grandmother was told about it (she also has health issues!) and we took her up to the ER.
Then today, my mom calls me to tell me that MY grandmother is back in the hospital (she was there a couple weeks ago). She's had some problems with congestive heart failure for a couple years - we aren't sure what's going to happen. She's not healthy enough for the surgery that would fix the problem - she's 96 years old!
And to top that all off - DH and I are considering putting our house on the market!
