They'll get over it after some time. People, including family, used to comment all of the time on my eating habits. Now they are used to it. EVen my parents don't try to push the bad stuff on me as much when we are over at their place.

A guy who used to work for me walked by my office one day and said, "I could never eat like you." He was headed to go pork out at the Chinese Buffet. I was eating an APPLE -- by his reaction, you would have thought I was eating a pile of dog crap.
