I don't like any music when I'm doing weights.. but I don't mind background music.. I don't hear it really.
But for cardio on machines.. YES!! and I don't have enough.. I'll have to get more variety next year. Wether it's HIITs or Cross-country programs it really keeps me going. I even wonder sometimes if it's as good a training! It seems so much easier! Sometimes the words to the songs count as much as the music.
For stretching, I don't "need" it.. but it IS very pleasant. I don't do much dynamic stretching these days and on static and PNF.. it's slow.. These days Loreena Mckennitt keeps me company.
