We had a bat in our old house every fall. The first time one got in, DH and I were watching a movie around 11 p.m. and this thing started flying around. I looked at him and said, "Oh, look.....A bird got in!" We he told me it wasn't a bird and it was a bat, I totally freaked and promptly locked myself in the bathroom wrapped from head to toe in a blanket........lol
I'm like you.......I totally get freaked by them. I even took 2 bat courses to learn about them and to get over my fears. Unfortunately, I only got worse when they had us sit on a hillside 50 feet away from an old church that has be preserved for a bat colony........Well, when you have thousands of bats coming out of the windows at dusk and you are sitting eye-level with the window.........it didn't do a thing to get me over my fears!

Julie..........This is beautiful! My DH and I are planning to build a cabin on a piece of land that he had inherited from his uncle. When we do.......I'll be spending my summers there and being as relaxed as you are.
Oh, BTW.........Great job at hitting your lowest weight in a year and a half! That's awesome!!!
