Ive never heard of a powerlifter alternating grips before, I think ill give it a shot, if anything maybe it will bring up my grip strength. Really, i could care less about deficiencys and imbalances as long as my lifts are going up and i dont tear anything.
I disagree with the straps no matter what your goal. If you HAVE to use straps on something, the do a hell of alot of grip/forarm work after and make the goal to do it strapless. Have you ever seen a forearm snap on a bench press? its not cool.
And alco, on the only strongman contest ive seen, they did not allow straps on the deads?
big forearms are cool, too.
