Besides you can work on you're technique with like 60% of 1RM. You'll be recovered from that the next day .
Doing absolutely nothing is a bad idea imo. But maybe it's works for you.
Btw: eating little and not training is very bad

I've done that he last 5 days ( due to exams) and I'm as weak as hell
