Well, I've reached the halfway point, and I feel like I've hit a wall. Not sure if it is the monotony of the program, the stubborness of my body to lose a little more fat, the temptations of the holiday weekend and awesome weather, or a combination of all of the above.
Bodyweight and bodyfat have stayed the same the past 3 days. I took my off day yesterday because I had to get the house ready for a cookout. So I did my cardio today and my legs were heavy and tired at the beginning, and sore at the end. I really worked my legs hard in Friday's circuit workout.
It was extremely hard to stay committed to the diet at my cookout. All in all, I did good. I didn't eat much thru the day, and then in the evening, I had three hamburger patties, no bread, and some shrimp--I at least avoided the carbs. And I didn't drink any, which was very tough when playing cornhole and sitting around the fire!
I am not looking forward to 2 more weeks of the same routine--I wish there was a change-up at least in the workout for weeks 3 and 4.
I will post pics and bodyfat measurements tomorrow so everyone can judge for themselves if there has been any progress.
