Funky Times 2-2A2 @ NoNonsense Gym : ham dominant, back secondary
all weights in kilograms

DYNAMIC STRETCHING
The usual exercises, except the ones w a ball
A1 chins
BW (UH)x2 , felt easy
BW (OH) x1 , harder
Left very little time in between those 2 sets. Was surprised by how easy UH felt, as I’ve claimed that OH is easier for me.. perhaps coz’ I’ve trained back heavily (including wtd chins) only 2 days ago.

B1 good morning , now till parallel
WU: 35x5 (-4)
40x5 (-3) – 42,5x5
45x4 (-4) – 47,5x4
50x3 (-4) – 52,5x3
Forgot to check last WO’s results, otherwise I’d have done more reps. Never mind, focus was on legs and not so much on back. Plus, when I noticed the exercise was so easy, I made sure to do it slow and really bend over to go really horizontal! Plus, I don’t want to go to failure on a GM anyway as that’s such a scary thing.. was less scary though than last time.


B2 plate loaded leg press
WU: 80x5 (was supposed to be 70, but miscalculated)

90x11 (+1) – 100 x11 (+1)
95x10 (0) – 105x10
100x9 (-1) – 110 (12RM, pre-2004 it was a 40RM)x9 (-3)
Again, a not so hard session.


C1 single-leg plate loaded leg press
42,5x10 (+2) – 10 (+2) for each leg


ODD EXERCISES
None today , even had to ditch 2 other exercises due to gym closing @ 1pm.


CARDIO
None, outside cycling to/from the gym (approx 20min)

General: still bummed about needing so much time to find the appropriate weights.. w/o having to search I’d have been able to finish the entire workout as planned.
Almost had wanted to finish things in the other gym that closes 1 hr later at 2pm (needed to do a lat pull down & a hammer curl plus would have liked to do some speed walking, but I’m now in the bulking phase, so cardio = optional. SO talked me out of it, saying I’d done enough already.

This is the last workout in this gym during this cycle. For next program, in which I plan to apply undulating rep ranges for all muscles, viz. have 1-2 depletion WOs , 1 tension & 1 power WO (yep, just like in UD2.0) , I’ll make sure to use same weights for 1 exercise in case I do go to this gym. It would also have to be either a tension or a power WO, as even circuits are tough in such a disorganized gym.
