Just purchased a fat loss monitor. I like how the name implies that you
are going to lose fat. But I suppose I bought it more for accountability. I have decided to drop kick the scale out the door and start using this instead. I looked at getting a scale that measures the same thing (BMI, % fat, etc.), but I think I'd be better off with this. Besides, I was looking for calipers, yet nobody had them. I had considered taking a caliper set from work that measures ball bearings in bicycle parts. But I really do not wish to be compared to a ball bearing so I passed.
Measurements at 6pm today: Fat %: 28.6, BMI: 25.1
My goal is to get down to the same as my almost 18 y.o. son who is at 16.2%.
I turn 42 in less than two weeks. I think I'm having a hard time with this one.
