I have yet to drop weights on the squat but I already know I am a sissy and not lifting heavy enough. For some reason I just fear it. I should do a drop just to get over the fear.

I've never dropped the bar, and I have only ever failed a squat once. It sucked really bad, and was probably the worst moment I've ever had lifting.
Dumping the bar would suck too.
I'm lucky I have good spotters now though.
I can't think of a reason why anyone would
want to dump the bar! Although hey, shit happens!(although that shouldn't happen too often)
