Back with my stir-fry so I can type without gnawing at my fingers.

Some people were made for the run. I feel like I was made for the long slow endurance stuff. When I am on the run, I am at complete peace and I think so clearly. I think you are just getting back into the space where you belong now that you are getting more fit.
Nope, not Army. I was Navy. Hence, my extraordinary cussing skills and drunken decades. "Drunken, foul-mouthed pecker checker" is not so marketable on the ol' resume, I've found.

Yep! It's been beckoning me ever since yesterday's run but I won't give in. Nuh-uh. I have a plan, you see... I think. Something along the lines of leaving myself wanting more and not overdoing it as I tend to do on occasion.

Thanks! Yep, I need to take it slow, rather than puke my guts out the first month like I usually do. I ran a couple of 5ks last year as I was trying to ease back into fitness. I completed them but I'd call them more "walk" than "run". LOL I'm pretty sure I could run an entire 5k right now but definitely not a 10k...yet.

I have a pic of my in my bunny suit somewhere packed away. I should find that some day!

I've been dabbling in some running on the treadmill myself, especially when I am stressed.
