I too have a fear of bees and even an allergy to yellow jackets. It was just that this was so surprising and so big and powerful that fear only happened for a little while when I first realized what it was. Then I was just completely blown away by the whole thing.

In fact I keep coming back to it in my mind. The buzzing was so loud from these guys that you could literally feel it. I had never seen anything like that before in my life. Amazing...
