Medically cleared to resume activities.
OK Injury forumites. I need you help. I've just been medically cleared to resume working out and physical activity after having major abdominal surgery. I was cut tip to tip. Unfortunately, this is the second time I've been through this. The first time I over did it a little and tore some stuff.
I wanted to run this thought by everyone and see if it passed the sanity test. I was planning on swimming for 2 - 4 weeks to get a low impact full body work out including the core which as you can imagine is very weak.
Once I break myself back in I'll start a more traditional lifting program.
Thought? I'm open to all sorts of suggestions.
