I had issues with the push-press and my wrists, but I had a trainer help me and his advice was to worry less about keeping my elbows high and rolling the bar onto my fingertips, since my weight on the bar wasn't too much for me to handle if I used my arms/hands a bit more to hold it. It helped a lot, and my form improved as I went along...
