Default Post workout equation??

I have a question, I understand that you want to get your protein directly after your workout. But, when should your next complete meal be??

For example, I have a my whey protein mixed with yogurt directly after my run/lift, then usually I have a meal with my protein. Would I be better off waiting an hour or so after my protein with yogurt?? Or does it matter at all??
