Thanks everyone for the answers--I guess that dynamic warmup is a fancy name for what I do anyway,

and so is a static cooldown. I just never heard "proper termage" if you know what I mean. But I have followed several of the links regarding foam rollers and I'm convinced! I've been stretching at home nonstop but muscles still feel tight and tender-I'm going to order one this very instant!
BTW, sorry if I hijacked the thread, back to your regularly scheduled muscle cramps...(or hopefully NOT)
