An interesting note:

This morning, I woke up hugely swollen! My hands, to be expected, were swollen. But my face looked like a giant marshmallow! Everything on my body was swollen, just puffy, water type of swelling but, wow. My face felt like it was going to explode. And I dropped 5 pounds since yesterday. (The swelling has now, a few hours later, gone down significantly.)

(Does this mean I can finally say I got my swole on?!)

It's raining today and, therefore, too wet to finish up the tilling. Yay! My entire body is tight as can be. I had to stretch before I could even get out of bed this morning. LOL So today will be an easy day of recovery for me -- just lots and lots of stretching and maybe a walk or slow run later if I'm up to it.

Listen to your body and substitute less strenuous work when you need to. Too much physical stress will just break your body down more. Remember that strength gains and body repair during times of REST, not during the work.
That's exactly what I'm trying to do now. During the calmer winter months, I can handle the Alwyn-type workouts but, currently? Not a chance. It's just way too much, especially since I'm an all-or-nothing person.

I actually thought of that last night. LOL I remembered Julie has mentioned a gluten intolerance (and I know tons of others have the same issues) and was thankful that I don't have to deal with that. My homemade whole wheat bread is rather brick-like without the extra gluten.

And a howdy and good morning to the rest of you, too!
